(Al-Mudasir) 74 : 38
كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ رَهِينَةٌ
Every soul is a pledge for what it has earned.
It is told in verse 53: 39 that man has nothing except what he intentionally did. The believing head of family leads his family members here under the light of Adhikr-the Light. See explanation 2: 286; 16: 11 and 52: 21.
